Environmental Statement

At Precision Cargo Services we recognise our responsibility and commitment to the environment by improving environmental performance, via our operating methods and procedures. We encourage all our customers, our suppliers, and other stakeholders to do the same.

What is Precision Cargo Services doing to help the environment:

• All our two office premises have low energy LED lighting in the offices.
• All our staff company cars are hybrid to reduce carbon emissions.
• All our delivery vehicles are Euro 6 which means they have the most restrictions for a diesel-powered vehicle and cannot emit more than 80mg/km of NOx gases.
• All our forklift trucks in our warehouse are rechargeable.

Our managing director Gary Green is passionate about ensuring that Precision Cargo Services have an environmental policy in place and that the company does as much as it can to assist the environment.

All our staff have a duty in their roles, to ensure that they consider the environmental impact in every activity that they do, and to assist other stakeholders to do the same.

This can include:

• Purchasing recyclable or environmentally friendly products.
• Recycling waste products.
• Switching off lights and electrical equipment when not in use.
• Reducing the temperature of the heating and water.
